元Jリーガーの片岡洋介。2005年に大宮アルディージャに入団し、プロの第一線で活躍。J1 通算191試合に出場し、泥臭いプレーでファンを魅了してきた。2017年シーズンに現役引退 し、社会人経験を経て心機一転まる29へ。満員のスタジアムから満席のフロアへと活躍す る場を移した、彼の想いを伺った。

大学を卒業してから、Jリーグで13年間プレーして2017年に引退をして、AthReeboにお世 話になることになりました。

大学を卒業したのが2005年。そこから5年間、埼玉の大宮アルディージャでプレーをして6 年目に京都サンガFCに移籍。そこからまた1年で大宮アルディージャに戻り5年プレーをし ました。33歳のときにJ3のガイナーレ鳥取に移籍し、2年間プレーをして引退をしました。

もともとポジションはボランチという中盤でプレーをしていました。ただ自分よりもテク ニックがある選手がどんどんチームに入り、さすがにそこで勝負するのは難しいと感じて。 それからは自分の特徴でもある体が強い部分を活かして、DFの一番後ろに立って泥だらけ になり体を張ってプレーをしていました。

そんな中、自分の力が衰えてこれ以上チームにいても迷惑をかけると思い、引退を決めまし た。

夢中になれる、そんな自分にまた出会いたい

代表の金沢さんと知り合ったのは、共通の知人を介してでした。

サッカーを引退をしてから気持ちが宙ぶらりんになっていて、この先どうしたらいいんだろ うと悩む日々でした。今までサッカーくらい夢中になれたことが、サッカー以外になかった ので。

金沢さんとそういったことを話をしていく中で、今回の焼肉屋を立ち上げると聞きました。 「それだったらもう一度、サッカーくらい情熱を注げるのではないか」自分も力になれると 思って、今ここに立っています。オープン前は不安が8割、残り2割は期待している自分が いました。プロ入団前のワクワク感に近い感覚でした。

AthReeboでは、自分がもう一度変わって「サッカー選手が外に出ても通用するんだぞ」と いう姿を後輩たちに見せたいです。見返してやりたい気持ちではありませんが、頑張ってい る姿を見せることで何か自分も成長できると思っています。 汗をかいて、笑顔で接して、大きな声を出して。自分にできることを一生懸命して、お客さ んからしたら、「美味しいな」「明るいな」と思ってもらえるようなお店を目指していきま す。
